Can I pack personal belongings in my car?
According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) rules and regulations, the transportation of household goods, personal items, firearms or ammunition and combustible containers is prohibited We limit the weight added to the vehicle to 100 lbs. Do Not Fill your gas tank. Vehicles should have less than 1/2 a tank of fuel. NO prescription medications, perishables, live plants, ammunition, sentimental items, time-sensitive items or cash should be left in the vehicle. NO items should block any windows of the vehicle. Our trucks have to go through every scale in each state and every pound counts. The transports must be of legal weight or we have to pay overweight fines in each state and some states will not allow the transport to leave the scales until the driver makes the transport legal (removing items from vehicles). We are not responsible for any personal items left in your car. Our insurance will not cover any personal items left in your vehicle. Many drivers may refuse to ship your vehicle if it is overloaded.
